SAN ANTONIO — UTSA wrapped up an undefeated weekend on Sunday with a 6-1 victory at Incarnate Word .
The Roadrunners (3-1) jumped in front early by winning two of the three doubles matches.
Jacobea Junger and Miriam Rosell Canudas blanked Victoria Kareh and Rachel Sadiq on center court for their fourth consecutive win to open the season. However, Sarah Savedra and Taryn Strahl evened things up when they downed Nicole Karaklis and Alena Shichkova by a score of 7-5 at the second position in the lineup. Lina Hallgren and Charlene Tiwari also improved to a perfect 4-0 on the spring when they held off Antea Dedic and Matea Zemunik, 7-6, on the third court to clinch the point for UTSA.
