HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Sincere McCormick broke the UTSA single-season record for rushing yards, totaling 173 yards and two TDs, leading the Roadrunners to a sixth-win on 2020, besting Southern Miss 23-20 at Roberts Stadium on Saturday night.
UTSA (6-4, 4-2 Conference USA) used a strong second half to post the comeback win at Southern Miss (2-7, 1-5 C-USA), erasing a halftime deficiet with a strong performance in the final stanza.
UTSA will return to action on Saturday, playing host to North Texas at 2 p.m. at the Alamodome. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+ and Ticket 760 AM.
