DALLAS — UTSA sophomore Jack Turner has been named Conference USA Indoor Men's Field Performer of the Meet, the league office on Friday announced.
The first Roadrunner to win the C-USA Indoor Men's Field Performer of the Meet award, Turner successfully defended his C-USA Indoor heptathlon title and also captured the bronze medal in the long jump to help the Roadrunners to a third-place finish at the C-USA Indoor Track & Field Championships on Feb. 20-21 in Birmingham, Ala.
The Exeter, England, native scored a career-best 5,489 points — the 13th-best total in the nation as of Feb.
