DALLAS — UTSA's Chad Sewell and Christian Fanfelle have earned All-Conference USA accolades, as the league office on Tuesday unveiled its men's golf postseason awards.
Sewell was named first-team all-conference, his first career C-USA postseason honor, while Fanfelle earned a spot on the second team for his third career conference postseason award, as he was a third-team selection a year ago after making the C-USA All-Freshman Team in 2018-19.
Sewell leads the Roadrunners with a 72.78 stroke average this season. The senior from Conroe owns four top-20 finishes including a top 10 that came when he fired a 1-over-par 214 (73-70-71) to tie for seventh place and lead UTSA to a runner-up team showing at the Trinity Forest Invitational.
