AUSTIN – The UTSA softball team went 1-1 Friday afternoon on day one of the Bevo Classic.
Game One: South Dakota
The Roadrunners started the day with a 5-2 victory over South Dakota.
The Roadrunners were first on the board in the second scoring four runs in the second. Marena Estell singled and Kindell Brooks reached on a fielder's choice. Victoria Villarreal reached on an error as Brooks advanced to second. With two outs, Kat Ibarra tripled to score Villarreal and Brooks as UTSA led 2-0.
