SAN ANTONIO – UTSA men's tennis has signed Portugal standout for the 2021-22 season, it was announced on Thursday by head coach .
Pinho joins a summer signing class that incldes Miguel Alonso (Veracruz, Mexico) and Russian native Maxime Groysman (Bellevue, Wash.).
"Tomás is very talented player," Avdeyev said. "He was among the best juniors in Portugal and has posted many top wins. He has a lot of potential to be the best player in our league. We are excited to work with and help develop Tomás and take him to the next level.
