BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The UTSA softball team closed out the 2021 season in a 3-2 loss to WKU in game two of the first round of the Conference USA Championship.
The Lady Toppers were on the board first with a run in the bottom of the third.
The Roadrunners came back in the fourth to take the lead. Madison Washington opened with a home run to right field to tie the game (1-1). Kindell Brooks and Marena Estell followed with back-to-back walks. Taylor Medina was hit by a pitch, which loaded the bases.
