SAN ANTONIO — Sean Meehan fired a 7-over-par 149 to lead the UTSA men’s golf team to ninth place after the first two rounds of the UTSA Oak Hills Invitational, which got underway on Monday at Oak Hills Country Club (par 71/6,765 yards).
Meehan fought back from a 78 in the opening round with an even-par 71 in the afternoon and the freshman from San Antonio Johnson High School is in a tie for 26th place with 18 holes remaining. His second round, which was the lowest by a Roadrunner on the day, featured four birdies with three coming on the back nine.
