DALLAS — The preseason honors continue to pour in for Sincere McCormick, as the UTSA running back has been named a preseason candidate for the Doak Walker Award, as announced on Wednesday by the PwC SMU Athletic Forum.
McCormick is one of 82 FBS players, including one of four from Conference USA, named to the Doak Walker Award preseason candidate list. This accolade comes on the heels of the 2020 Doak Walker Award semifinalist being selected for the Maxwell Award watch list on Monday and as the C-USA Preseason Offensive Player of the Year on Tuesday.
