LEWISVILLE, Texas — The honors continue to pour in for UTSA's Sincere McCormick, as the sophomore running back has been named Dave Campbell's Texas Football Texas College Player of the Year, the magazine announced Wednesday.
McCormick was chosen as the overall top collegiate player among the state's 12 FBS programs and he joins Offensive Player of the Year Jaelon Darden of North Texas and Defensive Player of the Year Buddy Johnson of Texas A&M on the publication's list of Texas College award winners. He is the first Roadrunner to receive one of the magazine's player of the year honors.
