SAN ANTONIO — With national signing day looming next week, UTSA coach Frank Wilson already has one player in the fold who could make an immediate impact next season.
Fullback Ronnie Feist is transferring to UTSA, according to LSUsports.net, the official website of LSU athletics.
The website said Feist (pronounced ‘feast’) graduated from LSU with a degree in sports administration in December.
Wilson, a former LSU running backs coach, was named head coach at UTSA on Jan. 15.
A 6-foot-1, 234-pounder, Feist will be eligible at UTSA immediately and will have one season to play for the Roadrunners.
