DALLAS – Celeste Loughman and Riley Grunberg were named to the 2021 Conference USA Preseason All-Conference Team, announced by the conference office on Thursday.
Loughman started all 25 games at center field in the shortened 2020 season. She batted a .375 with 23 runs, 30 RBIs and 80 at bats and posted a career-high seven home runs. The senior recorded five doubles, two triples, had 60 total bases and was six for seven in stolen bases. The West Columbia, Texas native, led the team in slugging percentage, runs scored, hits, triples, home runs, total bases, stolen bases and total plate appearances last season.
