Germany, Jackson lead UTSA past FAU on Friday night in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO – Jacob Germany went for a career-high 26 points as part of his fifth career double-double and Jhivvan Jackson had a game-high 30 points, leading UTSA men's basketball past Florida Atlantic on Friday night at the Convocation Center.

UTSA (11-9, 7-6 Conference USA) posted the win over FAU (8-8, 3-4 C-USA) behind the outstanding performances from Germany and Jackson.

The Roadrunners built a 44-41 lead at halftime and outscored the Owls 40-39 in the second half to secure the win. UTSA held the lead for 36 minutes in the game, with the Roadrunners able to hold off FAU's late second-half charge – that saw the Owls take a 3-point lead with just under 10 minutes left.
