SAN ANTONIO – Louisiana Tech scored 31 points in the fourth quarter to post a 69-51 comeback win over the UTSA women's basketball team Friday evening at the Convocation Center.
The game started off slow as both teams struggled to find the basket. At the halfway point, the Roadrunners led 5-4 until they hit a 7-0 run to lead 11-5 after the first.
Louisiana Tech hit a 6-2 run by the 6:25 mark to close the gap to two (13-11). UTSA hit a short scoring drought before going on an 8-2 run over a three minute span to lead 21-14.
