Balanced effort leads UTSA past East Central on Wednesday, 75-61

SAN ANTONIO — Lucas O’Brien tied a career high with 12 points to lead five players in double figures as UTSA defeated East Central, 75-61, on Wednesday afternoon at the Convocation Center.

O’Brien went 5-of-7 from the floor and the senior pulled down seven rebounds for the Roadrunners (2-9), who snapped a six-game skid. Gino Littles added 12 points and five boards, while Christian Wilson came off the bench to score 12 points and dish out five assists. Ryan Bowie and George Matthews chipped in 10 points apiece.

UTSA shot 45.2 percent in the contest and the squad pulled down a season-high 46 rebounds.
