SAN ANTONIO — Bryce Alley fired a 4-under-par 67 to help the UTSA men’s golf team charge up the leaderboard for a sixth-place finish at the UTSA Oak Hills Invitational, which wrapped up on Tuesday at Oak Hills Country Club (par 71/6,765 yards).
Alley entered the final day in a tie for 47th after carding a 77-75—152 on Monday, but his season-best round helped the junior vault into a tie for 10th place at 6-over 219 in the 84-man field. The Longview native posted a 36 on the front nine and then wrote down five birdies on the back – three on the last four holes – en route to a 31.
