Sabine Lipe’s greatest joy on a basketball court is getting bowled over and she’s uniquely good at it.
Such stats aren’t kept, they have no place in a box score, but the UTEP women’s basketball team’s sturdy sophomore has probably set a program record for charges taken this year.
That’s Lipe’s passion, and what’s truly amazing about that is she barely knew such a thing existed before she arrived at UTEP last season from Latvia.
