The UTEP football team (0-11, 0-7 C-USA) will face off against the UAB Blazers (7-4, 5-2 C-USA) for the first time in seven years in their 2017 finale on Saturday, Nov. 25.
The Blazers lead the all-time series against the Miners 3-1.
After the visiting team prevailed in the previous three matchups, UAB knocked off a 5-1 UTEP team, 21-6, in the last time the two schools met in Birmingham, Alabama back on Oct. 16, 2010.
The two programs first met on Nov. 19, 2005 in the Sun Bowl with UAB winning 35-23. The second meeting saw the Miners top UAB, 36-17, on Nov.
