The 5-1 UTEP men’s basketball team makes the short trip to Las Cruces to complete the home-and-home with archrival New Mexico State on Wednesday.
This is the final scheduled non-conference game between the two programs who began playing in 1914, though they could also play in the Dec. 22 final of the WestStar Don Haskins Sun Bowl Invitational. They will begin playing Conference USA games against each other starting next year.
Tip is set for 7 p.m. at the Pan American Center. It will be streamed on ESPN+ and carried on 600 ESPN El Paso.
