The 61st annual WestStar Don Haskins Sun Bowl Invitational is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday at the Don Haskins Center. UTEP will play North Carolina A&T at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and will be preceded by Kent State and New Mexico State at 5:30 p.m. The two winners will face off Thursday night in the championship game and the two losers will face off in the consolation game on Thursday. The Miners are 7-3 on the season and all seven wins have come at home. The Miners defeated Louisiana Tech, 60-55, last Saturday in the Conference USA opener for both teams.
