The Miners come in unsettled at quarterback, but Brandon Jones and Kai Locksley have played well this year, and for Locksley that was last week. UTSA is a big unknown with sophomore first-time starter Lowell Narcisse.
Running backs: Edge UTSA
UTEP ran the ball well against Southern Miss, but that was with Locksley, at tailback Treyvon Hughes and Josh Fields didn't get many opportunities.
