After serving as UTEP's first and still only director of football operations for a quarter of a century, Nate Poss was destined to serve his one-year term as the president of the National Association for Directors of Football Operations.
The bonus was he gets to serve it as the world returns to normal.
His first and most important act as president, which he took over earlier this month, was organizing the national meeting May 5 and 6 in Frisco, the first since the COVID-19 pandemic, and it went off as well as he hoped.
"Everybody was so happy to get together like we used to," Poss said of the meeting that included 63 operations directors.
