A UTEP men's basketball team that has gotten nothing but good news during a 4-0 start received some more as sophomore transfer Kaden Archie is now immediately eligible and can play Wednesday against East Central Oklahoma.
UTEP was counting on getting the 6-foot-6 guard at the semester break in mid-December, but the NCAA waiver pushed that up three weeks.
"Kaden is one of those guys we're excited about because he's a versatile player," coach Rodney Terry said in a release.
