This is what Jess Trussell pictured when he took a graduate transfer to UTEP from Purdue:
Fourth-and-inches, red zone late in a drive, second quarter of a 7-7 game, UTEP goes with a play-fake and a pass to the biggest target on the field, the 6-foot-5, 250-pound mountain man of a tight end.
Trussell grabs it for a 9-yard gain, UTEP takes the lead a few plays later. That's exactly what happened in Saturday's loss to Nevada.
