UTEP women's coach Kevin Baker has gone international for one of his 2020-21 signees.
Elina Arike of Helsinki, Finland, has signed a national letter of intent to play at UTEP and will be a freshman next season.
Arike, a 6-foot forward played for Mäkelänrinne Upper Secondary School and also with the U18 and U20 Finnish national teams. She averaged 8.3 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists in six games in the summer of 2019 at the U20 European Championships Division B
