The season is over for the UTEP women's basketball team.
The 11th-seeded Miners fell, 66-44, to third-seeded Middle Tennessee on Thursday afternoon in the quarterfinals of the Conference USA basketball tournament in Frisco.
UTEP finishes the season with a 9-22 record, while the 21-9 Blue Blue Raiders advance to Friday's semifinals.
The Miners reached Thursday's quarterfinals with a 64-56, double overtime victory vs. Marshall on Wednesday.
On Thursday, the Miners just couldn't get going on offense, making just 11 of 41 from the field and 3 of 15 from 3-point range.
