When do they get going?
The UTEP women's basketball team never really stopped, they've been working out all summer, but the first "official" day of practice was Saturday.
The Miners exhibition opener is Oct. 26 at home against Division II Eastern New Mexico, followed by their annual exhibition against St. Mary's on Nov. 2.
They open their home-heavy regular-season non-conference slate Nov. 9 against Cal-Riverside.
"I'm really excited about our team," coach Kevin Baker said.
