The UTEP women's basketball team (6-11 in Conference USA, 14-13 overall) closes its regular season at North Texas on Saturday, about a 30-mile drive from Frisco where they will open the C-USA tournament on Tuesday against UTSA.
Tipoff against UNT is set for 1 p.m. Mountain Time and will be streamed on ESPN+. It will be aired on 600 ESPN El Paso.
This is a rematch of a game UTEP won 75-62 in the Don Haskins Center on Feb. 3.
North Texas led by preseason C-USA top player
The Mean Green can finish anywhere from first to third in a tightly packed C-USA West, as their 9-7 league mark (they are 15-11 overall) has them tied for second with Southern Miss, half a game behind Louisiana Tech.
