The UTEP women's basketball team's winning streak came to an end at Louisiana Tech when the Miners couldn't make a late basket in an 87-80 loss.
The game was tied at 71-71 early in the fourth quarter when Louisiana Tech went on an 8-0 run, then UTEP went the final 4:38 without a field goal and couldn't get closer than three down the stretch. They were also done in by 28 turnovers.
