UTEP volleyball signees anxious to get to El Paso

"Hula" Crisostomo pronounces her full first name Wochit

To start with the answer to the obvious question, UTEP volleyball signee Ha’ahulakaleikaimanapo’aikalakahikikapuiholaneikeku’ina Crisostomo's first name means "Dancing diamond necklace around the noon sun."

It was given to the future UTEP volleyball player Crisostomo by her grandmother because she was born at 12:05 p.m. and the future Miners setter's mother was wearing a diamond necklace when she delivered.

Cristostomo's brother dubbed her Hula, which is what she'll go by when she reaches El Paso.

Like all of UTEP's volleyball signees, who hope to get here in July, Crisostomo is waiting out the lockdown in her home in Honolulu right now.
