The saying with junior college transfers is that you give a year to get a year. And while that's not always true in track and isn't totally true with UTEP long sprinter Sean Bailey, his 2019 season after arriving from Western Texas College was one of transition.
That season ended at the NCAA National Championships when Bailey was 13th in the 400 meters, speaking to the younger brother of sprint legend Veronica Campbell-Brown's potential, talent and to how much he did get done as a junior.
But as he starts his senior indoor season this weekend in Lubbock, he's hungrier and has the feeling there is more to do.
