Junior Winny Koech's personal-best race 10,000 meters at the Mount SAC Relays won the Conference USA Female Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week award, the league announced on Tuesday.
The distance runner registered a time of 33:35.68, the best time in C-USA this year and the 26th best nationally. That was also the fourth fastest time in UTEP history.
