Whatever disappointment UTEP cornerback Nik Needham had at not being drafted didn't last long.
Given his choice of destinations, UTEP's career pass break-up leader picked the Miami Dolphins to sign a free agent deal with.
"I felt like throughout the process, that was probably the team I'd have the best opportunity to show what I can do and compete for a job," Needham said. "The coaching staff said they'd love to have me. This was my best option
"This is super exciting. This has been a dream of mine since I was a young kid.
