In the search for good news, and fans of UTEP football can really use some right now after a 26-16 loss to UTSA in one of the most winnable games left on the schedule, Miners coach Dana Dimel quickly admitted he should have put in quarterback Brandon Jones sooner.
That's a level of accountability that wasn't present in the previous regime (note: this is not referring to Mike Price, as accountable a coach as has ever been) and gives hope that mistakes can be learned from.
