UTEP is set to hire Utah Valley coach TJ Hubbard to lead its softball program, according to the website Justin's World of Softball.
Hubbard was the WAC Coach of the Year in 2018 when the Wolverines went 10-4 in conference. They were 7-11 this year in WAC play and 15-31 overall, bringing his three-year record to 52-86 and 24-23 in league play.
The program went 9-43 in 2016, the year before his arrival.
