In this unprecedented football season, the UTEP football team will do something new this week at Louisiana-Monroe.
As the Miners try to go 3-1 for the first time since 2010, they are playing a fellow group of five team that has played games this season.
That will change the preparation method for a Miner team that is starting to learn how to win as it tries for what would be its biggest victory of this young season. What UTEP will see is a Warhawks team that ranks next-to-last in rushing defense a year after finishing 127th nationally in that category.
