UTEP's Springtime track meet is a low key opener to the outdoor season, a way to ease into the season before it ramps up before next week's Texas Relays, but for a senior like Lucia Mokrasova, an anchor for the team since her arrival in El Paso in 2016, the significance of the meet is more than she really wants to consider.
"I don't want to think about it being my last year," said Mokrasova, the school record holder in the heptathlon and indoor pentathlon just coming off her third consecutive C-USA pentathlon title.
