The Miners enter another week, a bye week in this case, with a new depth chart at quarterback and the expectations of juggling Brandon Jones and Kai Locksley next week at Florida International.
The twist is that during the bye week they are without Locksley, who has the flu, promoting Gavin Hardison to backup in the interim.
When Locksley does return, he’ll be back to backing up Jones, though history has shown that may mean two possessions of Jones against FIU until Locksley gets his first look.
