UTEP has added two home games against FBS programs to their football schedule as they will will open against Stephen F. Austin on Sept. 5 and host Abilene Christian on Sept. 19. Both games will start at 7 p.m.
UTEP will be taking on SFA for the first time, and will battle ACU for the first time since 1959.
This brings the Miners' schedule to 11 games after it previously lost non-conference games against Nevada, Texas Tech and New Mexico State. An additional road contest will be announced at a later date.
UTEP has previously announced home games will be played at 18 percent capacity, or about 10,000 fans.
