In his third year as starter, Charlotte junior Chris Reynolds set program records throughout the 2019 season and has completed 72 percent of his passes in Conference USA games. UTEP sophomore Gavin Hardison could be putting up numbers like that soon as he continues to develop.

The 49ers have a potent 1-2 punch in Tre Harbison and Aaron McAllister, who are averaging 5.3 yards per carry. UTEP also has a good 1-2 punch in Joshua Fields and Deion Hankins and their average is 4.
