The UTEP women's soccer team's Kathryn Balogun era started an hour late against the Wyoming Cowgirls, but given how well they played from behind, that may not have been a bad thing.
The Miners overcame an hour lightning delay and two very brief deficits to forge a 2-2 tie against the defending Mountain West co-champions at University Field, marking a successful debut for UTEP's first new head coach in 19 years.
