The focus on the UTEP men's basketball team is naturally on what it returns: three starters and three other lettermen, plus all five members of "the best scout team in America," a squad of Division I transfers who last winter were sitting out their transfer year.
There are, however, three new faces, or two and a half, depending on how you count Deon Stroud, who sat out last year while gaining academic eligibility, stepping into Rodney Terry's second team that in 12 months has gone from infancy to a squad of veterans.
