The UTEP men's basketball program has added Eric Vila to its 2019 signing class. Vila plays for a junior college now, but has spent time at Texas A&M and at Fresno State, when UTEP basketball coach Rodney Terry was there.

The 6-foot-11 forward is currently at Northwest Florida State College. Vila will be a redshirt junior and will have two years of eligibility.

“Eric is a player we have always loved because of his versatility, leadership, basketball IQ and passion for the game,” Terry said.
