UTEP men's basketball reportedly lands Oklahoma transfer Jamal Bieniemy

The UTEP men's basketball program reportedly has landed Oklahoma transfer Jamal Bieniemy.

UTEP has not released details on Bieniemy's signing or any new players who have signed or committed this spring.

A 6-foot-5 point guard, Bieniemy played significant minutes for the Sooners the past two seasons.

In 31 games this past season, he averaged 5.2 points, 4 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.1 steals in 31.9 minutes. He started 30 games for Oklahoma, which competes in the Big 12 Conference.

He averaged 6 points, 4 rebounds and 2.8 assists during conference play. In a road win against West Virginia, he scored 12 points and grabbed six boards.
