Conference USA men's basketball's "bonus play" experiment has ended, as the league schedule released Thursday morning reverts to a more traditional 18-game schedule
UTEP will play five of the closest schools, UTSA, North Texas, Rice, Louisiana Tech and Southern Miss, twice and every other team once, starting with a Dec. 30 home game against Florida Atlantic and concluding March 6 at home against UTSA.
The non-conference portion of the schedule will be released at a later date.
