The UTEP men's basketball program added veteran assistant coach Arturo Ormond to complete its staff for the 2019-2020 season.

Ormond, who most recently coached at the AAU level in California, has coached at five Division I programs, including Fresno State in the early 2000s.

“We’re excited about Arturo coming to our staff,” UTEP coach Rodney Terry said. “He’s a great addition and will help us develop quality student-athletes in our program.”

Ormond replaces Brian Burton, who was not retained from last year's staff.
