UTEP men's basketball picks up transfer, North Alabama's leading scorer

The UTEP men's basketball team are poised to add another proven Division I scorer, as North Alabama's Christian Agnew is transferring to the Miners, according to CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein.

UTEP has not confirmed Agnew's transfer yet, and if it is finalized Agnew will have to sit out a season to become eligible.

Agnew started 27 of the Lions' 30 games and averaged 12.8 points a game to lead the team, along with 4.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists. He scored a career-high 24 points against Stetson, which was one of four games where Agnew had 20 or more points.
