UTEP coach Rodney Terry is fond of saying home court isn't enough by itself to win a basketball game, but it mostly has been this year in Conference USA. That's a good thing for the Miners on Saturday as Louisiana Tech comes to the Don Haskins Center for a 7 p.m. tip.
The Miners will put their 9-0 home record on the line against a Bulldog team that two days ago looked like the only elite team in Conference USA. That's before the Bulldogs absorbed a never-in-it 89-73 beating at the hands of a sub-.500 UTSA team that led by 29 points in the second half.
