From the moment UTEP's schedule was released, Friday's game against Eastern New Mexico, sandwiched between rivalry games with New Mexico and New Mexico State, looked to be the yawner.
Their hope is that they set the alarm for Tuesday against New Mexico, because the only time the Miners looked good for an extended stretch was when they had the reserves on the floor in the first half of what turned into a 71-57 victory that at least moved UTEP to 3-0.
