UTEP feels as if it is on the brink of turning the corner. And the Miners hope to make that turn this weekend.
UTEP will host Louisiana Tech in a three-game Conference USA softball series — a double-header at 1 p.m. Saturday, a single game at noon Sunday. And, for good measure, the Miners will host No. 15 Missouri in a double-header beginning at noon Monday.
It is a flurry of games ... five in three days and it is the perfect time to make that turn.
Louisiana Tech comes into the Helen of Troy with a fine 16-6 record.
